Biography
London based melodic metalcore 5-piece THECITYISOURS have been making strides in the alternative rock & metal scene. High octane-fuelled live appearances including Camden Rocks, Macmillan Fest, Burn It Down, High Fives Festival [Sweden], a number of London sell outs and a headline set in the Doghouse Tent at the revered Download Festival have swiftly gained fans and garnered attention. Following the departure of long-standing vocalist Sam Stolliday, the band are back with the introduction of new vocalist Oli Duncanson and ready to welcome a brand new era of THECITYISOURS. The new album ‘COMA’ is a cathartic journey of self discovery, which crosses genres and boundaries in ways the band never have before. Released 22/10/21 via Arising Empire. —————————————————- “Oli Duncanson's voice is absolutely sensational” - Alex Baker, Fresh Blood, Kerrang! Radio “This London quintet have got a knack for writing satisfying choruses and bright guitar lines. The convincing collection of songs is about as anthemic as metalcore gets” – ‘COMA’ album, Metal Hammer (7) “Digging deep and emerging from a time of great personal turmoil, this London five-piece have spliced together a debut album [LOW] full of metalcore at its most infectious” - Rock Sound “A thunderously assured album dealing with loss and mental health that practices what it preaches on the subject of self-empowerment… LOW Punches and soars in all the right places” - Kerrang KKKK
