Biography
Known for their signature super metal sound, IMMORTAL GUARDIAN combines thought provoking lyricism with virtuosic musicianship for a high energy LIVE experience that has left audiences around the globe in awe. Founded by Gabriel Guardian, a modern day metal Mozart who simultaneously shreds guitar and keyboard, and Carlos Zema, a Brazilian powerhouse vocalist whose skills landed the band on an EP with Rob Halford and Bruce Dickinson producer, Roy Z... just listen to a few notes from Zema and you'll understand. Immortal Guardian brings the POWER back to Power Metal and will interest fans of Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Helloween, Symphony X, Kamelot, Angra, Marty Friedman, Dragonforce, Children of Bodom and Dream Theater. The band’s debut full length album “Age of Revolution” was released via M-Theory Audio in 2018 and received outstanding reviews, making several “Top Albums of 2018” lists. In support of the album, Immortal Guardian joined guitar legend @Marty Friedman as the direct support for his "One Bad M.F. US Tour" in 2019. Prior to their first album, Immortal Guardian released two independent EPs while continuing to release music videos and tour around the US, Brazil, and Russia. The first EP was titled “Super Metal: Edition Z” and released in 2013, featuring the single @Surface. The sophomore EP that featured producer/engineer Roy Z (Helloween, Yngwie Malmsteen) was titled “Revolution Part I” and included the singles Walk Alone and Beyond The Skies.
