Biography

Blind Hex is a Neo Symphonic Metal band from Mexico. Founded in 2021 by Fede d’Empaire (Producer and Guitarist, ex-Sense of Noise) and Sharon Portilla (Singer and Songwriter). With majestic orchestras, powerful guitars and harmonious melodies, Blind Hex fuses Symphonic Metal with Electronic music and Nu Metal elements; creating a fresh take on the genre as a duet in the band-based metal scene. Federico is also a multi-instrumentalist, arranger, and mixing engineer. He has produced classical, jazz, pop, urban, rock, and metal compositions as well as arranged musical compositions for ensembles from various parts of the world. Sharon, as well as being a singer in various musical genres, is also a composer and actress. As the latter in Television, Film, and Theater, she has also extended her musical capabilities as a lyricist and singer for visual media. They met in 2020 and started their first musical collaboration on Sharon’s solo project, Sharon Portilla . Having a common affinity and admiration for similar artists, they founded Blind Hex to create a new symphonic metal concept to fulfill their modern vision.
