Biography
Born Juma Musa Mkambala in 1989, Juma Jux has had an illustrious career as a rapper and now one of the best R&B singers in East Africa. Since his musical debut in 2005, he has managed to dominate the scene with one hit after another. Jux is consistently building his fashion line, African Boy, and music brand, with his very first album, The Love Album. Jux is also Bilingual and can speak 3 languages, Chinese, Swahili and English, having majored in Computer science for his studies In China. Jux is also known for doing sold out events one in particular was the Love and Money Tour that he partnered with Vanessa Mdee. Jux had sold out Stadiums in 5 regions in Tanzania; Mwanza, Mtwara, Dodoma, Arusha and Daresalaam, which was covered live on TV. They later took the tour to Burundi, where they sold out at Stadiums as well. Jux has also performed multiple times on Tanzania’s Biggest Music Festival – FIESTA and in 2017, he organized and performed at one of the biggest Live Music events ‘Love, Melodies & Lights’ together with fellow R&B stars Ben Pol and Barakah da Prince. He also shared a stage with the likes of Diamond Platnumz, Wizkid, Tiwa Savage, Innos B and Meddy at Wasafi Festival 2019.
