Ben Pol is a leading Tanzanian artist and a fast-rising talent on the African music scene. An award-winning singer and songwriter and a gifted vocalist with a unique style of R&B, his productions keep gracing the top of the radio charts. In 2015 Ben Pol participated in Coke Studio Africa Season 3 alongside 25 top artists from the continent including Yemi Alade, Sauti Sol, and Flavour. Dubbed by Coke Studio Africa the “Tanzania R&B prodigy”. In 2011, he won his first Tanzania Music Award for “Nikikupata”, followed in 2012 by an award for Best R&B Song for “My Number One Fan” and in 2013 took the coveted prize for Best Song Writer. His 2 nominations for AFRIMA in 2015 for Best African RnB & Soul and Most Promising Artist in Africa and his nomination for Best Male Artist in East Africa at AFRIMMA in 2014 makes him an artist to watch in Africa. His live performance skills combine top-notch vocal artistry with great stage presence and make his shows highly sought-after.
