With over 36 million views and 137.000 subscribers on YouTube since the release of their first live performance videos in 2011, NOVA breathes new life into the sounds of classic Brazilian music and delivers a fresh musical perspective with a voice of their own. In the spring of 2014, NOVA released its first full-length album in response to worldwide demand. Their second album, Live from Seahorse Sound, is a live full-length album with 5 live performance video recordings released in Dec 2017. NOVA, which continues with its signature video performance releases, for their 10th year anniversary, released a double compilation album, The NOVA Collection Vol. 1 & Vol. 2, containing 20 favorite songs recorded over the years and remixed and remastered for the occasion. Although currently unable to perform live due to the global COVID 19 pandemic, NOVA has kept active online, releasing one new live performance video every 2 weeks on their YouTube channel, calling the series Quarantine Series, with the first 10 song volume released in Dec 1st 2020, and Quarantine Series Vol2 released August 10th 2021. NOVA also released their Holiday album, "A Bossa Nova Christmas" on Nov 13th 2020, a rendition of their favorite 11 Christmas classics reinterpreted as Bossa Nova, Samba, Mambo and Jazz. The latest work of the band is NOVA-Pop, a Brazilian Music interpretation of some of our favorite Pop songs by artists such Leonard Cohen, David Bowie, The Cure, Radiohead, Tame Impala, Sting and more.
