Biography

Golden Slumbers is a Lisbon born indie folk-pop duo comprised of sisters Margarida Falcão (Vaarwell) and Catarina Falcão (Monday).
 The duo started from their family home bedroom when Margarida was still in high school, after she felt inspired by a live concert of The Staves, a sibling trio and convinced Catarina to form a band with her.
 In 2014, they released their first EP “I Found the Key”, and in 2016, their first LP “The New Messiah”.
 They found success in their home country, selling out headline shows, and have toured around Portugal and Spain, performing at various festivals such as NOS Alive, Vodafone Mexefest and EDP Vilar de Mouros. 
 After a hiatus to work on side projects, Golden Slumbers are back and their upcoming album, “I Love You, Crystal”, will be released early 2022.
