Biography

Award-winning children's songwriter Emily Arrow creates music & books for young people. With her ukulele named Bow in hand, Emily’s mindful approach fosters a love for the arts at home and in the classroom! Storytime Singalong, Vol. 1 (music produced by Nick Goldston) & Storytime Singalong, Vol. 2 (music produced by Cazz Brindis) include #1 songs on SiriusXM’s Kids' Place Live and have received The Lennon Award, National Parenting Products Award, a Parents’ Choice Gold Award and the Nashville Scene’s Best Local Kids’ Entertainer. Emily’s debut picture book is called Studio: A Place for Art to Start, illustrated by The Little Friends of Printmaking (March 3, 2020, Tundra Books) and her final book-themed album in the series, Storytime Singalong, Vol. 3 (music produced by Sean Trainor and Jason Bentsh) features singalong songs to go with her very own picture book. Emily began writing for children during her time as a K-6 music educator in Los Angeles.
