Biography

Contemporary Christian singer/songwriter Kane Adams creates inspirational, faith-based pop/rock music. Born and growing up in Auckland, New Zealand, Adams decided to give music a go at the age of fourteen; the same age he decided to become a Christian. After teaching himself the basics of guitar and music theory, he began writing songs from the heart. In 2011, Adams wrote the song ‘This is God’ which became his first song to be released to the public. In 2013, Adams completed an internship at City Impact Church in Auckland. During the internship, he learnt to produce and orchestrate music and many of his songs were sung during Sunday gatherings at the church, as well as featured on the faith-based television show Impact For Life; a show that screens across the world. In 2016, Adams embarked on his first solo project; his debut EP titled ‘Close.’ Close contains 6 tracks, including ‘Maker Of The Heavens’ and ‘Love On The Knees’ and was released on October 7th, 2017. At the start of 2018, Adams embarked on writing his debut full-length album titled Undercurrents. Undercurrents contains 11 tracks, including 'Arrows' and 'Captain.' Undercurrents was released on August 9th, 2019. In 2020, Adams was inspired to write another EP titled ‘Draw Near.’ The EP focuses on remaining positive and in faith during a time of crisis. ‘Draw Near’ was released on September 25th, 2020.
