Biography
Pulling teeth from the bite of a larger beast. Following acclaimed 'HEX' and 'HOUND' EPs, Birmingham natives CREATURE released the final chapter in their trilogy, 'HAUNT' - via Grey Ghost Records, Sam from Trve. Cvlt. Pop! podcast's EP of the year for 2022. Shortly after HAUNT's release, HECK handpicked CREATURE to support them at their secret London re-launch show and the band played a landmark performance on the NEU stage at 2000trees festival. The band's 2023 headline UK tour quickly followed. "The sonics on HAUNT feel bigger and fuller than before, and there’s a newfound potency to CREATURE’s heaviness. The songwriting is carefully constructed, which keeps the assault feeling vital and meaningful, while moments that are audaciously groovy or surprisingly melodic burst through the layers of noise." - Kerrang! "Are CREATURE the UK's answer to Converge?" - Metal Hammer "CREATURE play a form of frenzied metalcore that recalls turn-of-the-century game-changers like Converge, Every Time I Die, Botch and early Norma Jean. Ferocious as hell, with hurricane-like drumming and riffs that pummel like arms in a fist fight." - Revolver Magazine "‘All’ is CREATURE at their most feral. Savage and borderline rabid, the track takes the groove-laden metallic riffs of Employed To Serve the ravenous attitude of Gallows and the self-destructive energy of Converge and distils then into a two minute rampage stating how war and inequality are fracturing our fragile society." - Noizze
