Biography

Jonah Agas hopes to make music that may serve as a time machine where people can relive their memories and feelings whenever they want to. Based in Metro Manila, Philippines, she makes music in lo-fi, indie pop, and synth-pop genres. The music she writes are photo albums of her ideas, feelings, memories, made-up stories, and somewhat real stories. It’s her sincere hope that her music may make people feel, bringing comfort and companionship. Influenced by the songs of Barbie Almalbis, Hellogoodbye, Japanese music’s melodic hooks as well as pop punk band Motion City Soundtrack's melodic phrasing and lyricism, one thing is clear: the songs she releases are never boring.
