Biography
Take This And Grow Flowers is the debut album from South London's Jodie Abacus. His last single Skin was added to New Music Friday in Germany & Switzerland as well as Pop Brandneu in Germany. Jodie has over 11 million streams on Spotify, being aded to such playlists as New Music Friday (4 times), Sweet Soul Sunday, A Perfect Day and Morning Rhythum to name a few. Jodie recently supported Tom Odell in Switzerland this summer as well as being asked by BBC to perform at their BBC Biggest Weekend in May. Past live highlights include performing at Glastonbury, V Festival, Secret Garden Party, Lovebox and The Roots Picnic in Philadelphia alongside Usher and Anderson .Paak. He also supported Laura Mvula and Corinne Bailey Rae on their respective UK tours. Three of his previous singles have seen him added to the A list at Radio 2 twice and the C list at BBC 6 Music once, as well as receiving a great deal of support from Mistajam and DJ Targett at 1xtra. He has had support from the likes of Fader, ID, Clash, Metro, Evening Standard, DIY, Line Of Best Fit and Noisey.
