With a rich era-spanning appreciation of music and an innate need to turn life experiences into narrative, Ady Suleiman has developed a timelessly classic yet fresh sound and a lyrical distinctiveness that has garnered fans ranging from Chance the Rapper and Joey Bada$$ through to Labrinth, George the Poet and Michael Kiwanuka. The half Tanzanian, half English neo-soul singer rose to notoriety after being selected as ‘Breakthrough Act of the Year’ at Gilles Peterson’s Worldwide Awards, which led to support shows with the likes of Michael Kiwanuka, Laura Mvula, Leon Bridges and Lianne Le Havas. Following a string of critically acclaimed EPs, which received extensive coverage in media and were featured by BBC Radio 1, BBC 1Xtra and more, Ady released his debut album 'Memories' via his own Pemba imprint on March 9th 2018.
