Biography

Originally hailing from Northern Ireland, The Left Backs consists of 3 Belfast-born lifelong friends, who draw from an array of influences such as The Strokes, Nirvana, The Libertines and The Ramones. Through fuzzy guitars, raw vocals and blistering drums, The Left Backs have exploded onto the Liverpool scene with their own hard-hitting take on indie rock. The up-tempo, infectious energy of their tunes has garnered their previous releases airplay on BBC Introducing, as well as slots at festivals such as Threshold Festival and the renowned Sound City in their home of Liverpool. After forming in Belfast in 2015, the boys made the pilgrimage to Liverpool to study music at university. Once graduated, they made a blood oath to dedicate every waking moment to writing, rehearsing, recording and (most importantly) performing live for as many people as they can before they realise they should have listened to their parents and studied Business Management.
