Biography

GONDOLAS are a fiery 4-piece from Liverpool that deliver dirty distorted indie rock straight to your face. Formed in 2022 by Irish brothers Benjamin (Vocals, Rhythm Guitar) and Chris (Lead Guitar), along with long-time friend Rosh (Bass, Vocals), the lineup was complete after encountering Jacques (Drums) and enlisting the Englishman to join them in spreading their blend of high-energy garage and punk influenced indie rock across the North West of England. Through extensive gigging, they’ve carved out a name for themselves in the local scene and honed their electrifying live show. Combining their influences of The Strokes, The Hives and Fontaines D.C., the group used prize money from winning a battle of the bands to record their first single ‘Swing And A Miss’. Released in November, the track has garnered thousands of listeners, streams and followers to their socials from all over the world, as well as support from BBC Introducing.
