“As long as you’re breathing then there’s a reason as to why you’re here.” (Bloodline) Bringing her own flavour of soulful R&B which is light and breezy on the ears, Doncaster’s Rumbi Tauro has music in her DNA. Growing up in a household bubbling with the sounds of Tracy Chapman, Nina Simone and Alicia Keys and finding meaning within the worlds of Jacob Banks and Adele growing up, there is true soulfulness within Rumbi’s creative work. Having performed across the UK, at Headrow House in Leeds, the Tramlines Festival in Sheffield, Boxpark Croydon and the Deaf Institute in Manchester, Rumbi Tauro is most at home on stage allowing her audience to connect with her on a deeper level. Her songs taking on a life of their own when they venture into the public consciousness.
