Biography
✨Email me with any comments or questions at austincolwellmusic@gmail.com :)✨ "Ivy League" is a bookworm's party album. Spinning tales of loss, the 11-song jaunt marries preppy lyricism with treat-oriented production. From the environmentalist track "Looks" to the anthemic "Harvard" and the romantic outcries “Midway (feat. Brenn! )” and "Still Life", I'm happy to say this is my proudest work yet. I'm so thankful I get to share a part of my heart with you <3 Inspirations: Vampire Weekend, Arlo Parks, Indigo, Claude Debussy, Instupendo and Clairo “Ivy League Second Edition”, featuring unreleased tracks and alternate versions of songs from LP3, will release ??/??/???? but have a single debuted on July 14th with STRFKR at Northwest Tuneup in Bellingham, WA. Once again, feel free to reach out! I’d love to learn from you :) Harbor Day is the audio journal of Austin Colwell (they/he) a linguist from Bellingham, WA and former guitarist of Hockey Teeth. Creating bedroom pop influenced by folk, electronica and r&b, their songs are crafted with care from start to finish. Every release grows with them in the same way that your favorite memories grow with you. "[A] linguist with a penchant for ocean iconography and delivering honest emotion through his work." -Natalie Vinh, BREAKOUT Mag. “Harbor Day: plant dad by day, sound wizard by night” -Moth Manor
