Biography
Rangga Pranendra is an Indonesian singer/songwriter. His overall music is mainly influenced by L'Arc-en-Ciel, Sheila on 7, The Used, and Nobuo Uematsu's Final Fantasy pieces. Being a curious and productive musician with limited recording equipments in his earlier stage of music life, he has managed to create hundreds of songs and as many as 17 unofficial albums from 2001 to 2013. In 2014, Rangga Pranendra decided to produce a more mature, proper recording. Collecting some of his recent best shots, and with a great help from Midiquest Studio and Garage SoundLab Studio, he released his first official album, Across Chapters. Between 2013 and 2016, in his peak fanboying era, Rangga Pranendra managed to compose a total of 17 songs for 14 members of a local idol group JKT48. The songs were then compiled into an album called The L.B.M.S, short for "Lagu Buat Members". In 2017, Rangga Pranendra began a project of making a supposedly double-album. Although the idea was eventually scrapped and the album was cancelled due to the global pandemic, he has managed to release several songs in accordance to the project, such as Are you an Ultraman?, Raja, Merry Christmas Selagi Bisa, Menuju Sehat, Unspoken Things, Nostalgila, Katakan Saja, Mengubah Dunia, Manis Berbahaya, Selalu Istimewa, and Tak Hilang Arah. Rangga Pranendra finally marked his comeback in 2022 by the release of Firanti and its upgraded version, Seperti Namamu (Live Showcase).
