Biography

Serene is a first generation Ghanaian-American, born and raised in the suburbs of Dallas, TX. As a singer, songwriter, and producer, her style blends Pop and R&B elements to tell stories about her life. From a young age, Serene has been fascinated with music and the way that it has the power to connect people regardless of their differences. According to her, music is not only a unifying source, a style of expression, and an outlet for emotion, but also something that challenges and pushes her to explore her artistry. Her goal is to not have listeners simply hear her music, but feel something to. That’s what she believes makes music so special.
