KROWNS is a narration about Kyle McKearney’s life and the struggles he experienced coming from a broken home and feeling like he had to pretend everything was cool, when really — it wasn’t. One night Kyle sat down and wrote out a bunch of confessional-style pieces about his past to help process it all. He took these truths to Grammy Award-winning producer Stephen Kozmeniuk, and Todd Clark, and began crafting the songs that make up KROWNS’ EP. The debut single, High While the World Ends created an international footprint for the new act, with support from MTV & VIVA.tv in Germany, along with features on Kerrang! Radio in the UK, and dozens of other notable media outlets & blogs. Their sophomore single, Fake It (released October 2018) was named the “Top 12 Songs You Need To Hear” by Alternative Press, along with features on dozens of media outlets. An impressive debut to say the least, for this new alternative act. In January 2019, KROWNS released their debut EP titled “Fake It”, worldwide. It is the honesty in these stories that empower people to rise above their own feelings of oppression from the world today. The 6 track masterpiece is resonating with alternative music lovers everywhere.
