Biography

Wendy Kay is an Afro-Pop recording and performing artist- producer from Nairobi, Kenya. A two-time Cafe Ngoma Awards nominee, she has been featured on two seasons of Coke Studio Africa as a background singer at the same time pursuing her own career. Since graduating from Sauti Academy, Kay’s career has been on an upward trajectory. Her single ''Maybe'' was featured on the highly acclaimed international independent music platform ''COLORS'', making her one of the very few artists to do so in Kenya. In addition, her music was featured on Netflix Special Made In Kenya film, 'Sincerely Daisy', highly acclaimed 'You Again' among others. In 2020 she released her debut EP project ''My Way'' to positive success. She released her debut album ''My Way Volume II'' with star-studded collaborations in 2022.
