Biography

In 2008, Pato, a singer-songwriter and Poli, a guitarist, started this group as a duo. The two started off playing in different bars but did not have much luck to it. The band added a third member, Dex on beatbox, and gigs started to pour in. For the longest time, the band remained a trio doing covers and arranging songs with vocal harmony since the three can sing individually. Apart from nightly gigs, they were known to be a good catch as wedding singers. This is also when the group started to write their own songs. Jun, the bassist, came next to the picture. During this time, the band played in Warner Music Philippines Christmas party. This was their ticket to go in and be signed by the label. The quartet released their original songs "To Move On", "Blinded", "Payo", and their most viral hit song "Hindi Para Sa'yo" which has now almost 6 million views on Youtube. Kithara added one more talent, Apollo, to play keys and violin and for their last year in the label, they released the song "Mag-isa" which garnered a million streams on Spotify only months of its release and a Christmas song called "Tanging Hiling Ngayong Pasko" which got more than 100,000 streams in Spotify in less than a month. As of this writing, the band got signed by their second label Sony Music Phillippines and they are more motivated than ever. The band's catchy melodic lines and truthful and honest lyrics are set to continue to captivate more listeners.
