Biography

Ralph Kaminski is an outstanding vocalist, songwriter and composer. His music can be classified as alternative pop, strongly influenced by cinematic music. His debut album „Morze” (released November 2016) has gained great popularity, and his first Polish tour was sold out a month after the announcement. Ralph graduated from Gdańsk Music Academy. He also studied at CODARTS University in Rotterdam. He works closely with Wybrzeże Theatre in Gdańsk. He won a number of prestigious awards, such as Grand Prix prize at the international Carpathia 2011 festival, and the main prize at FAMA international Camp in 2013. In 2014 he was a nominee of artNoble prize in music category. Ralph Kaminski performed at prestigious festivals, such as Opole, Open’er Festival, Kraków Live Festival, Off Festival or Soundrive Fest. His debut album „Morze” is a collection of emotions and experiences from author’s life. Ralph focused on building a coherent and thoughtful narrative, relatable to his audience. His album consists of 12 songs, strongly rooted in acoustic genre. Sounds of classical instruments, such as violin, cello and piano have been combined with a modern twist, such as strong bass or even moog. Kaminski was called the most promising young Polish artist and his debut album was named one of the best Polish releases of 2016. "
