Biography

Ykons is an Indie-Pop group made up of 5 musicians who are authors, composers, producers and artistic directors all at the same time. After a first album "Reflected" released in January 2019, the Belgian group scoured the Belgian stages. From the Francofolies de Spa to the Ronquières Festival via the Reflektor, this group of friends for several years has begun to create a name for themselves. The covid has not slowed their development. On the strength of "Sequoia Trees", the first single which made the rounds of Belgian national radio, Ykons organized the first test concert to relaunch culture in Belgium. An important moment which made it possible to launch them into the Belgian media field. In the wake came "Time" a second single with a catchy chorus to continue to position the group in the movement of the Imagine Dragons, Bastille, etc... all while wanting to stand out with a new and striking atmosphere. After years 2021 and 2022 marked by more than 60 dates in the flat country and an album release at the Madeleine in Brussels, the Belgian group returns in 2023 with a new single "New State of Mind". A perspective of a loss of meaning in our society but also the will to always say that the positive is never far away. In April 2023, the Forum de Liege was packed for their return to the stage. Dates in Belgian and also French festivals follow this summer before the release of their new album in April 2024 at Ancienne Belgique!
