Biography
Passionate about creating lush electronic pop music, MARDIANA's lovingly crafted melodies and introspective lyricism transport listeners into her world of empowerment and self-exploration. Also known by her nickname Mars, the singer-songwriter-producer is currently based in Kuala Lumpur. With her background in classical piano, Mardiana started writing and composing from an early age - she cites this as the foundation of her musical DNA. Following the release of her 10-track self-written debut album 'DON’T CRY FOR ME' earlier this year, the title track has garnered praise from international music publications such as Notion, C-Heads, Fame Magazine, Lock Magazine and more. 'Please Just Stay In Love', her dreamy synthwave lead single, has received nationwide radio play on HITZ FM, Malaysia's No.1 English radio brand. Holding honesty and authenticity close to heart, Mardiana embarks on her continuous mission to elevate her craft to new heights. She recently made her debut festival appearance at Out Of The World Music Festival, and will grace the stage at Good Vibes Festival 2023, Malaysia's biggest annual music festival. Mardiana’s releases over the past year have received support from Spotify editorial playlists such as Electro Mix, New Music Friday (Malaysia, Singapore, Philippines, Korea, Indonesia), Women of Malaysia and more. Fans can expect a multitude of new releases from her in the months to come, as she has no plans on slowing down any time soon.
