Biography

Singer songwriter Nicole Musoni, who wears her last name with pride, has a natural inclination for music coming from her father's side of the tree. The eldest daughter of popular Rwandan artist Evariste Musoni, was barely two years old when she set foot on stage at the Odeon Palace Auditorium in Burundi. Having moved to Montreal, Canada, Nicole remains a young lady with roots deeply embedded in east African soil who believes that the stage has been calling her name ever since that very first experience. 
 Drawing inspiration from the likes of Sade, Celine Dion, Lauryn Hill, Mariah Carey and more, the Montreal sweetheart is like no other. With east African roots and a contemporary R&B sound, the Canadian singer has been garnering a progressive and an increasing online buzz thanks to recent support from the likes of Complex Music, Nylon Magazine, AFROPUNK, DJ Booth, THISSONGISSICK and more. 
 Through the release of some covers, all shot in the style of original music videos, including the likes of Childish Gambino's "Redbone", Nicole has found success developing her own fan base, as well as releasing original music through collaborations with producers such as Kaytranada and Arms & Sleepers. With a solid team in place, growing support from influential music outlets as well as an incredibly loyal fan base, 2023 is set for Nicole to break out as one of Canada's new artists.
