Biography
After a year and a half of constant releases from Rex McCreight, The solo project "isaur" had a short but impactful run. In 2021, after Rex's work on i killed a pixie., Rex decided to begin "isaur" at 13 years old after discovering a sound of atmospherically pleasing shoegaze with influences ranging in genre. After releasing his most memorable release "Aux", he decided to recreate his album he made a year prior (1991) this fully embraced the sound of isaur as a genre bending shoegaze act with dark unforgiving meanings behind each song. Following the success of the three most popular releases back to back, Rex never held back in releasing albums with sounds and influences completely different from the album prior. As isaur grew Rex began to see issues following isaur, even with the constant bending of the consistency in sound, isaur had been roped into a genre of "lofi-slowcore". Being roped into a genre was Rex's worst fear for isaur as it defeated the purpose of his vision. Along with a genre, the fanbase was an issue as well. Rex was suddenly surrounded by people saying they were going to "attempt s**cide" to the music and also sexualize Rex despite his age of 14 at the end of isaur. After recording and sound was so different from the original sound of isaur, and the fanbase draining the inspiration Rex had for isaur, Rex decided to end isaur in March of 2023. Rex now is working on a project titled Crashdrive Business email: fogmomment@gmail.com
