Biography
Jon Caryl is a 20-year-old singer/songwriter who writes, sings, records, (and often produces) all of his own music straight from his bedroom, and now college dorm room. He started out on TikTok where he has now grown a fanbase of over 600k followers. He is now in his second year at Belmont University studying Songwriting and Audio Engineering in a community of musicians. In February of 2021, while Jon was finishing his senior year of high school in zoom classes from home, he was racking up millions of views promoting his song "House of Glass" on TikTok. This led to the song (which he wrote, recorded, produced, mixed, and mastered from his bedroom) being playlisted on Spotify's New Music Friday and Fresh & Chill playlists boasting millions of followers. He loves all kinds of music but mainly writes singer/songwriter, pop, and melodic rap. Some of his biggest inspirations are Dean Lewis, Ben Folds, Tom Odell, JC Stewart, Lewis Capaldi, and Jeremy Zucker with his favorite song of all time being "Be Alright" by Dean Lewis.
