Biography
Sharane Calister is an American singer/songwriter. A 27 year old native of Des Moines, Iowa Sharane is best known for her appearance and performance on The Voice Season 14 working with Alicia Keys and Adam Levine in 2018. She landed in the Top 11 with powerful performances singing songs like “Make it Rain,” “All I Can Do is Cry,” “In My Blood,” and “Never Enough.” As a rising star, her journey does not stop although her stint with The Voice ended prior to the finale. She continues to sing with The Feel Right Band while making additional solo appearances throughout the country. As a foster care alumni and adoptee, Sharane gives back to communities, She is an advocate for foster care and adopted youth. Sharane travels to share her story and perform on behalf of foundations who support foster care and adoption. She is honored to be invited to The Purple Project Youth Conference for the third year in 2020 to speak to the youth. Calister inspires youth by sharing that life continues and their light will shine despite their current circumstances; life can go their way too. Summer of 2019, Sharane hosted her first mini summer camp for female foster care youth or in placement between the ages of 13-18. The camp is titled “Sharane Calister Summer Sessions.”
