"Hello, I'm rookie singer-songwriter J.UNA," - he always introduces himself briefly, but when the performance begins and people hear his unique husky voice, it’s hard to believe he has just started his music career. J.UNA learned sensuous songwriting and a stable sense of rhythm in just a few years. As such, his charm shows in his curiosity about the unknown possibilities than the current result. In 2019, J.UNA demonstrated his skills and won the Golden Prize at the ‘2019 Shinhan Card Rookie Project’ and shortly after, he recorded his first song “It’s Not Right” as a part of the compilation album [bright #8]. Apart from that, he appeared at the Grand Mint Festival, 30th ‘Yoo Jae-ha Music Contest’ and ‘Unaffiliated Project TOP8’ proving his genius by making many achievements in a short time. In 2020, J.UNA appeared on Mnet's program ‘I Can See Your Voice’ as a singer-songwriter from Germany. Finally, showed his improved musical talents by singing and producing all the songs of his first EP [inspiration]. In addition, the EP [Discovery] released after signing a contract with MPMG, showed not only his songwriting talents, but also overwhelming performance skills which increases his chances of becoming a next-generation global star.
