Biography

Soulful vocal harmonies and captivating melodies help capture the magic between Tereza Lavička-Sladká and Miroslav Patočka, who formed the dream-pop project teepee in 2015 and have been exploring the space between electronic and acoustic elements ever since. Subtle samples and synthetic sounds provide a bed for their melancholic, honest and confessional lyrics.
 They released their debut album 'Albatross' in April 2016 followed by intimate EP 'Mirrors' in 2017. The band performed at major showcase festivals such as Eurosonic Noorderslag, Reeperbahn festival, Enea Spring Break or Waves Vienna, toured in the UK, Poland, Germany, or Austria and also supported more famous names like Seafret, Oh Wonder, Peter Bjorn and John or Laurel.
 In 2018 teepee began to work on a new album with British producer Tom O. Marsh who previously toured as a drummer with HVOB and IAMX. The new album 'Where the Ocean Breaks' was recorded at the Viennese Aurora Studios and released in January 2020 via German label Springstoff. Now teepee are coming back with a single blind tomorrow from their upcoming album which is going to be released in 2023.
