Biography

The new Norwegian pop punk quartet TwoMinutesHate show up armed to the teeth, with catchy melodies that penetrate your skull! The band members are from different parts of Norway, but are based in Oslo. Vocals and guitar are delivered by Sama A. Miserée, whose self-revelatory pennings convey a lyrical universe built on heartbreak, friendships, longing, grief and dark thoughts that seldom make their way out of the deepest corners of the mind. On bass and vocals there's Helene C. Kunz, on lead guitar is Øystein H. Gravdahl and behind the drums is Sondre L. Paulsen, and together the group of friends has developed a sound perfectly tailored for people who wear Vans in the winter. Showing clear signs of having spent the last few decades with Blink 182 on the bedroom walls and NOFX in the Discman, your future favourite band was conceived right before the pandemic broke out. TwoMinutesHate’s debut EP Restless, Nervous And Way Too Loud has already earned them a significant amount of airplay on one of Norway’s largest radio channels NRK P13, and even landed them a spot on the soundtrack of the Norwegian comedy Jentetur! The band has recently released their song Leaving Tolmin, which is the third single from their upcoming sophomore EP. Riffs high-fiving pop punk greats such as Blink-182, call-and-response vocals between Sama and Helene, and catchy sing-along parts; Leaving Tolmin is like four minutes of your greatest summer in the form of a song.
