shy kids are a band of musicians and filmmakers from toronto, canada. they've been active since 2010, with an ep "Field Trips" in 2012, their first lp "Lofty!" in 2015, and a visual album, "in a state" in february of 2018. since then, they've been steadily releasing singles, including the hits "Backward in Love", and “i love everything”. they signed with canadian label everything forever in 2021. their third LP, “house cats”, is due for release on july 14, 2023.
