Brett Ewels, best known by his stage name Louis La Roche, is a Nu Disco/Pop producer, remixer and DJ from Norwich, UK. "He meshes soft synth tones with captivating vocal hooks, chopped and screwed to perfection. He embodies an older sound refined with today’s present technology, to spice it up just enough to get you loose on the dance floor" - YourEDM In 2015 Louis released his debut album 'To Rest Is to Rust', The lead single 'Just Like You' was featured on Majestic Casual. 2017 saw the release of 'Sleepless Nights', Louis' second LP. The lead single 'All I Had' was used on Channel 4 comedy show Lee & Dean. Louis' third studio album 'Saturday Night Griever' was released in 2020. It features vocals from Frankmusik (writer for Ellie Goulding) & Ryland Blackinton (writer for Sam Sparro/Kelly Clarkson). In 2021, Louis released his fourth LP ‘We're Not So Different’, which features Darren Hayes (Savage Garden). Other works include official remixes for Madonna, Fatboy Slim, BAYNK, Mat Zo, Public Service Broadcasting and producing for Crystal Bats & Delfy, among others. Louis' music has been supported by both radio and club DJ's including Annie Mac, Pete Tong, Mark Ronson, Armand Van Helden, A-Trak, Diplo, Questlove & Sister Bliss. Ewels has also written for several tv shows including Channel 4 series 'Skins' & Canada's MuchMusic Video Awards. Louis supported Kylie Minogue on two dates of her Kiss Me Once Tour and in 2015 presented his own show on BBC Radio 1.
