Known for his diverse array of fast-paced, super-skilled Drum & Bass, halftime, and dubstep - Monty is an artist who needs little introduction. With releases on key labels such as Critical Music, Invisible and Flexout Audio, Monty represents 1985 Music - the cutting-edge label curated and nurtured by Alix Perez. His first release ‘Hold Me Back EP’ in 2017 led the way to a long and fruitful relationship with the imprint. After a string of genre-bending output, he released his debut album ‘Hit The Lights’ in 2021. A landmark release for the Toulouse-based producer and DJ, this long-form listen is a celebration of tempo diversity and underground bass. “A purveyor of the Toulouse sound, 1985 phenom, and supreme talent.
