Biography

Dope Times started in the end of 2018 in Sao Paulo - Brazil when Rafael Jales (guitar/vocals) invited Paulinho Greg (drums) and Maniac Biffs (bass/vocals). We were pretty much confident to start playing songs that reminded bands like Operation Ivy which was the main influence, but we were missing another guitar in the team. In 2019, Fabio Gomes (ex Ketamina) joined us and after that we had our debut album "LIFE IS A MESS" released only in 2020. A few months after the pandemic started, Fabio decided to leave the band. Later in 2021, Paulinho did too. We were about to be done when Biffs invited Lucas (sec guitar/vocals) and Renan (drums) to join the band. In 2023 we recorded a new album called "Where Ghosts Remain Outside" and it is streaming now!!!
