Hereafter is the latest modern metalcore band from Melbourne, Australia to hit the scene. The band consists of vocalist Niall Garrett, guitarists Matt George and Jack Baker, bassist Tom Rhodes and drummer Liam Bradford. Plagued by two coronavirus pandemic lockdowns in 2020, Hereafter has been working hard behind the scenes, creating music and honing their skills as a band. Not ones to shy away from influences, the band quotes Australian stars Polaris and metalcore giants Architects as their biggest. While heavy and refined, Hereafter look to bring their own new and unique sounds to the modern metalcore landscape, with their bouncy riffs, huge choruses and melancholic ambience. Hereafter premiered the music video for their debut single ‘Breathe’ through Dreambound, a YouTube channel with over 400,000 subscribers dedicated to premiering new and upcoming rock and metal bands. The video amassed over 10,000 views within days of release and received acclaim from the Dreambound community. Hereafter worked with producer Ionei Heckenberg (Ocean Sleeper, Outloved, Mirrors) and the track was mastered by Jeff Dunne (Wage War, Crystal Lake, Chelsea Grin). Breathe has amassed over 28,000 streams on Spotify, and over 26,000 views on Dreambound’s YouTube channel. Breathe is now available to stream on all digital streaming services.
