Biography
Based in Naarm/Melbourne, The Velvet Club and their unforgettable stage presence have taken their live show from backyards to sharing stages across the country with the likes of Great Gable, The Rions, Pacific Avenue & DICE to name a few. Forming in 2018 through loose connections, the band kicked off their career with a gig in AJ’s parents backyard & they haven’t looked back, blossoming as friends and as a band. Refusing to slow down, the 5-piece return with ‘Lose Track', their first release of 2023 and the last single to be released from their upcoming EP. After spending much of last year on the road touring the country in support of The Rions & Ra Ra Viper, the band are announcing a National Tour which will see them playing headline shows and festival slots across Australia in March. With growing support from industry & fans The Velvet Club are primed for the stage, kicking off their run of shows with a festival slot at Now and Again Festival in Melbourne. Featuring Gang Of Youths, Empire of the Sun & Tones and I. Bookings: niamh@fourtone.com.au PR: philippa@habitmusic.co
