Biography
Maiah Manser is a Los Angeles-based, vocalist, producer and visual artist who builds bridges between the worlds of automation and nature. Inspired by fantasy aesthetics, her arrangements combined with hauntingly powerful vocals create a chilling sensation that is thundering and ethereal. As a student in Seattle, she met Mary Lambert; that chance meeting opened the door for an opportunity to tour with Lambert as a backing vocalist, opening for artists like Sam Smith, Ariana Grande & Pharrell Williams. At 20 years old she started her professional career as a solo artist. For her debut EP, "Second Skin", Maiah teamed up with Buddy Ross (Producer: Frank Ocean, HAIM, Unknown Mortal Orchestra) and received critical acclaim. Since, she has been featured in The Fader, Pigeons and Planes, and Nylon along with song placements for Vogue Met Gala, and TV/Film productions ‘Tidelands’, ‘Good Behavior’, 'Lucifer', 'After We Collided' and radio stations across the globe. Maiah’s collaborated with different artists Robotaki, Mary Lambert, Maxchalant, Chong the Nomad and Doe Paoro generating millions of streams. She is the vocalist on the musical scores for 'The Voyeurs’ (Amazon Prime), 'Devil in Ohio' (Netflix) and 'Mayfair Witches' (AMC). Maiah's long awaited sophomore EP 'third degree' dropped in June 2022 that explores the process of breaking old loops and patterns in an experimental pop masterpiece.
