Biography
Caitlyn Scarlett is an independent artist based in London, UK. Her single 'Nightmares' is the theme song to BBC drama Clique, which was created by the same team behind cult TV series Skins. As well as her own artist project, Caitlyn is making a name for herself featuring and writing for others. She co-wrote and features on CLiQ's single 'Dance On The Table' alongside Kida Kudz and Double S. After a sync on popular TV show Love Island the track broke the record for the most Shazam's in 24 hours with 30k. It held the Shazam UK number 1 spot for 5 days. She also co-wrote and features on the Axtone Records released Free Wheelin' by Jack Wins which currently sits on over 30 million streams on Spotify. As well as being an artist, Caitlyn is in high demand for her writing skills. Roc Nation requested her to join the Rihanna writing camp that took place in London. During the camp she wrote with the likes of DJ Dahi (Drake, Kendrick Lamar, Big Sean), MelO x (Beyoncé) and Levi Lennox (M.I.A, Zayn Malik). After her single Ornaments was selected as BBC Radio 1's Track Of The Week, Caitlyn released the 2nd instalment of her EP trilogy. Following Red Tape, Vol. 2 Caitlyn started performing live & has since had 3 sold out London headline shows & graced the stage at Radio 1's Biggest Weekend in Swansea. Caitlyn has also collaborated with Platinum selling UK group Rudimental on their EP Distinction, featuring on the final track on the EP 'Ghost'.
