Biography
9x Gold, 14x Platinum certified records, D.A.M.A have been conquering the status of Portugal’s biggest band of the decade. They became the local breakout group of 2014, reaching 2x Platinum status in Portugal with their first record Uma Questão de Principio. It was #1 for 19 weeks in a row and was the top streaming album on Spotify in Portugal for more than 6 months straight. The album had several hit singles which reached the #1 position on the Portuguese Digital Singles Chart and the #1 position on the Portuguese iTunes Chart, being among the most played tracks over Portuguese radio stations. The second album Dá-me Um Segundo (Repackage), 2015, reached Platinum status, as well as the third album Lado a Lado (2017), since then the band has performed more than 600 shows in Portugal and abroad, selling out venues. In own productions, D.A.M.A sold out Altice Arena (17.000 pax.) once, Multiusos Guimarães (12.000) twice and Campo Pequeno (8.000) 4 times in 7 years, managing to be the only musical project to accomplish such marks. They were the first and only portuguese band to perform at Sony’s Music Entertainment International Convention, in Puerto Rico, aside Pitbull , MAGIC! and other international icons. This multi-award winning band represents the energy of three friends who produce, write and compose, not only for themselves but for other artists as well. D.A.M.A’s Youtube channel is now on its way to reach 170 million views.
