Biography
Born in the north of Sweden, with Bosnian roots, Adna is an alternative singer/songwriter and music producer delivering compositions built around ethereal melancholic vocals that speak about sorrow, identity, yearning and love, with an ever lasting inspiration found in what comes with someone who’s grown up with, and in between, two cultures. Over the years, Adna's music has earned comparison to the work of artists such as The xx, Daughter and Bon Iver. Adna began writing music in her early teens, with a consistent love for vocals and melancholic melodies, and has since then put out a debut EP and four albums. In 2018, the highly acclaimed song Beautiful Hell got picked out for Netflix’s post-apocalyptic drama series The Rain. After the release of her first album Night, Adna performed throughout Europe, playing festivals such as Eurosonic, Reeperbahn, 7 Layers, Piknik i Parken and Women of the World, as well as supporting artists such as Agnes Obel, Tom Rosenthal and Kristian Kristensen. Following the release in 2021, Black Water, Adna performed her music at the prestiges Stora Teatern in Gothenburg and Södra Teatern in Stockholm (Sweden).
