Biography
Born from electronic beginnings, Tusks' debut album Dissolve saw cathartic anthems like Last and Toronto draw comparisons to Sigur Ros, Daughter and The Cinematic Orchestra, gain over 10 million streams on Spotify and be supported by the likes of BBC 6 Music's Lauren Laverne and Radio 1's Annie Mac, MixMag, DIY, LOBF, MOJO, 405, Wonderland and more. In 2019, Underhill's second album Avalanche came with a greater wealth of influences; "I got really into My Bloody Valentine, Foals, Marika Hackman, Wolf Alice and a lot of female-led guitar music" she says, with the album going on to gain support from Rolling Stone, Billboard, Complex, Radio X and gain syncs across numerous TV shows, including Netflix's hit series '13 Reasons Why'. Currently based in London, Tusks has just released her third EP Change and is currently finishing her third studio album.
