Nik Mystery is the popwave brainchild of multi-platinum producer Jukka Backlund (FI), formerly of Sunrise Avenue, Grammy-nominated Periphery vocalist Spencer Sotelo (US), and award-winning guitarist Mike Dawes (UK). Based in Las Vegas, Nik Mystery combines alternative pop/rock elements with nostalgic synthwave atmospherics. Taking influence from acts as diverse as Peter Gabriel, Michael Jackson, Paramore, The Midnight & The 1975, they create modern music for the throwback generation. Music performed by players at the top of their game, with analogue equipment and spirit. The When EP was released through Qten records in December 2018. By a Thread & the Maniac (Remixes) are out now.
