Biography

The slightly known pop rock darlings RINGGO5. Hailing from Jakarta, Indonesia, this energetic five-piece consist of Nara Pawaka (Vocal), Rishad Marciano (Guitar), Robert Matthew (Bass), Gege Adita (Drums) and Rhein Michael (Guitar) got their start forging a sound that brought punk-rock power with hints of bright and boy-band pop energy. Originally formed in May 15th 2015, the group started as childhood friends into school band rivalries and now collecting an Indonesian Choice Award Breakthrough Artist of the Year 2017 nomination under their belt within two years of being together. The band successfully produced a full length album called 'Emotion' in 2017 describing their music as an infectious pop rock with songs that could bring people back to their dissolving high school romance. With goals set on international presence, they were invited to run their first ever tour in Europe promoting their album with 'Emotion UK & European Tour 2018' playing in several iconic venue such as The 100 Club. Growing up and maturing together as a group, the band evolves with genre bending ideas and synth pop production to their music. Producing a five-track extended play record called 'Not Alone, Just Lonely' with dreamy guitar and heavy chorus single like 'Middle', post break up track to make you smile and dance in 'Purple Hour' and slow acoustic ballad about healing and acceptance in 'Take a Little Time'.
