Biography
Northampton born Sarpa Salpa create hook-heavy and highly danceable indie songs drawing from an array of influences spanning the breadth of the indie, pop and rock spectrum. Over the past few years the band have enjoyed success with heavy rotation on national radio including BBC Radio 1 (Jack Saunders, Gemma Bradley & Kerrie Cosh) as well as on BBC 6 Music (Chris Hawkins & Steve Lamacq), Radio X (evening playlist) and Amazing Radio. Having amassed over 1 million streams on Spotify alone with 2 million across all platforms the band released their new single She Never Lies in January. Sarpa Salpa have developed a reputation for their energetic live shows, selling out venues across the country and earning them slots at major festivals including SXSW, The Great Escape, Radio 1’s Big Weekend as well as recent support slots with The Lottery Winners, Alfie Templeman and The Amazons.
