Biography

Blending the raw sounds of his soulful, folksy influences, Singer/Songwriter Dom Louis is making a name for himself through his timeless, evocative songs and charismatic performing sensibilities. He’s fostered a tight-knit and loyal community of fans through the release of his 2022 debut EP Everything Must Come Around, followed by a string of support shows from Ontario to Ohio. His Debut Self-titled full length LP Dom Louis was released on Super Sport Records April 14th, 2023. 
 Born and raised in rural Southern Ontario, he first picked up a guitar and began writing his own songs at the age of 10, performing them at local fairs and community halls. Raised on classic artists including Bob Dylan and Tom Petty, he soon developed a love for a wide range of contemporary artists as well, ranging from Coldplay to Bon Iver. A self taught multi-instrumentalist, by his teens he was producing recordings in his bedroom. After leaving high school early, he began pursuing music full time, playing street corners, open mic’s and dive bars from Toronto to Nashville, recording with new musicians met along the way. 
 Dom’s music cuts deep with honesty, soothes the listener with its warm, bittersweet soul, and paints a unique sonic thumbprint. His songs speak to the core of the human condition, touching on big themes and emotions with a relatability you might find in a dear friend.
