Biography
Incase We Crash (IWC) is a pop-punk band who pride themselves on their authentic and unapologetic sound that gives you something your ears want to hear. Influenced by bands of the golden era of emo/pop-punk like The Starting Line, The Story So Far, Cartel, & Taking Back Sunday, IWC brings the beloved classic pop-punk sound into a new decade with fresh in-your-face guitar riffs, anthemic radio-worthy choruses, and powerful vocal performances all woven together with delicate emo undertones. Based in Toronto, ON, founding member Simon Austin has successfully crafted the IWC sound into something that has a live pulse, making the listener feel connected to the band and transports them to their own intimate sonic space. Having shared stages with international pop-punk bands Seaway and Like Pacific, and opened for Waterparks and KennyHoopla, the band has gotten airplay on Idobi Radio, charted internationally, and had been featured on multiple official Spotify playlists like Pop Punk's Not Dead, The Scene, & Punk Unplugged alongside countless scene giants. After releasing tracks over the last year that help fill a hole in the evolving scene; the group is building momentum with their counter-pop, emo-driven sound and are eager to make their mark while touring the U.S. and beyond, continuing to release new music with themes and lyrics that truly feel intimate. One thing is for sure, the best music from Incase We Crash is yet to come. - Alex Restrepo
