Biography

Emerging from the depths of the Salt Lake underground, No Jure are an alternative metal group that have slowly but surely been building their own musical temple through which to spread their brooding, dark, crushing songs. With woeful anti-establishment sentiments at the heart of their writing, No Jure have comfortably seated themselves alongside other well liked groups from their own local scene. The band found it’s beginnings in the unlikely city of Syracuse, Utah. Founding member Taegen Kehr saw the band through multiple lineup changes and re-imaginations until Guitarist Isaac Streeter, Bassist Brandon Anaya, and Drummer Isaac Lueckler (formerly of local Deathcore act: Primal Aggression) found their way to her, coincidentally in their own home town. The four began concocting elements of their favorite grunge, shoegaze, hardcore and metal bands in Taegen’s small basement level bedroom, combining them into one shimmering, filthy, blistering mix.
