MILWAUKEE ROCK 'N' ROLL COMPANY Showcasing an eclectic style described as where “garage rock meets power pop,” Milwaukee’s Diet Lite specialize in blending catchy riffs, creative songwriting, and a brand of energy that could be canned and sold. It’s gritty, feel-good rock ‘n’ roll at its finest. The group takes pride in melodically forward verses, active bass lines, and familiar yet fresh material. Diet Lite have found themselves at the forefront of a burgeoning young Midwest DIY scene that continues to gain momentum. Since holing up during the pandemic to record their 2021 album, Seems To Be The Way It Tends To Go, they’ve played hundreds of shows across the Midwest, released two EP’s, and landed a spot on the Shepherd Express “Best of Milwaukee” list as one of the city’s best local rock bands. Still, they refuse to pump the brakes; they’re rolling on, full steam ahead. Diet Lite’s new album, Into The Pudding, captures the essence of the high-octane, no-holds-barred live show and unrelenting verve the band has come to be known for.
